A Hardworking Home Inspector
Jeffrey Theys is the owner and lead inspector at Aarrow Home Inspections. A carpenter by trade, he decided to use the skills and knowledge he had in the homebuilding industry to help people make wise decisions about their home investments and purchases. After having a few bad inspections of his own over the years, Jeffrey felt that he could offer a higher level of service than he was currently seeing in the industry and decided to change careers and become a licensed home inspector.
He loves meeting new people through his job and getting to be the one who puts their minds at ease as they try to understand the home’s condition and necessary repairs. In his spare time, Jeffrey rehabs residential properties and builds homes for his family.

David Simmons is a native of southeastern Wisconsin and has been a proud resident of Raleigh, North Carolina since 1992. Before becoming a licensed home inspector, David worked in various areas of residential home construction and remodeling for over 20 years, and has extensive knowledge in the computer-assisted areas of custom home construction, with over 7 years of experience in the field.
During that tenure, he had many responsibilities, which included designing and programming architectural drawings to be tooled on CNC machines in which he operated using a variety of construction materials.
He would then combine a wide array of craftsman trades to hand assemble the custom created designs. This hands on experience throughout his life of the home construction process was the best preparation for a career in home inspections.
It provided the wide base of knowledge upon which the specialized training of home inspection is built, and also gave invaluable insight into innovative products and techniques which can help protect a client’s home investment.
David completed his training with The Home Inspection Training Center (THITC), passed the North Carolina Home Inspection Exam shortly after, and is now a licensed Home Inspector.

Over 20 Years of Homebuilding Experience
Jeffrey is a carpenter by trade and a third-generation licensed general contractor. Now in his 40’s, he has been working in the building industry in one way or another since he was 17 years old. His family owns one of the largest commercial construction companies on the East Coast, and he has been surrounded by builders his entire life.
Knowing that his 20 years of construction knowledge and experience would make him a great fit for a career as a home inspector, Jeffrey began to focus solely on this new career path in March of 2018. He is eager to share this wealth of knowledge with his clients, always encouraging them to take full advantage by asking questions throughout the inspection process and after. Don’t trust your important investment to a home inspector who doesn’t fully understand your home from the inside out.
